The Adult
ministries of this church have a variety of forms from the activities that
enable the Sunday services to function (like Teaching, Worship-leading,
Ushering etc.) to ministries that take place outside the walls of the
church building. Some of these are the visiting of people in hospital and
the meeting of needs in the home through our deaconess ministry, the
conducting of worship services in some of the senior care centers and
hosting of events for service and outreach.
Bible Study or Cell groups, are an important part of our ministry at Church of the Open Bible. Groups meet on various days and times throughout the week. Our cell groups use various bible study material which last for approximately 12 weeks at a time. There are presently 5 groups with about 8 people in each one.
They are set up so that whether you're a Christian or a person who's interested in what that means, you'll be able to contribute and feel welcome.
At the Church of the Open Bible we have two adult classes, which start at 10:00 a.m during the fall, winter and spring months. We trust you'll find our adult Sunday School ministry insightful, practical and applicable.
